1.      Troubleshoot your update

Launch the start menu on Windows and go to Settings. Now, proceed to System >> Troubleshoot >> Other troubleshooters.

Finally, select Windows Update, then Run. You can now restart your PC.

2.      Restart Windows Update Service

Open your Windows search and search Services. Locate Windows update, then select Startup type and set it to Automatic. Select Apply, then OK to effect changes.

Now, set “Restart the service” for “Windows Update”. Go to Background intelligent transfer service, Startup type and set to Automatic. Also, select Apply, then OK to effect changes.

Finally, choose “Restart the service” for “Background intelligent transfer service” and restart your PC.

3.      Allow Windows 11 Installation Assistant

Visit Locate the “Download Now” option on the page and select it.

Now, you can run the downloaded .exe file, accept all permission then install.

4.      Allow Microsoft Update Catalog

Visit and search for “KB5017321”. Once you locate the update file, download it and restart your PC.

5.      Reset Windows Update components

Open a new Notepad document and copy and paste the items below.

Once you copy and paste the items, save the with “Wufix.bat” and to desktop. Now, proceed to your desktop and locate the file. You need to run it as an administrator to allow all the Windows update services to restart.

Now, you can restart your PC.

6.      Employ the Media Creation Tool

Visit and click the “Download Now” option. You need to proceed by following the on-screen instructions.

Locate the downloaded file in your storage and open it. You must run the setup file and follow the on-screen instructions to ensure successful installation.
