Xiaomi Mi 6X to be Launched on 25th April 2018

The Popular Chinese OEM – Xiaomi is set to launch Xiaomi Mi 6X as the newest smartphone from the Manufacturer. The company confirmed it has sent invitations to mark the launch of the phone on 25th April 2018 in an event at Wuhan University – the school where Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun graduated from.

Xiaomi Mi 6X has been certified by China’s telecommunications regulatory agency. Its specification includes a 6-inch display at 2160 x 1080 (FHD+) resolution, with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device will come in two variants of 4GB and 6GB RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage for the 4GB model and 128GB ROM for the 6GB variant. It runs an octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor with a 2.2GHz and Adreno 506 GPU.

The smartphone, Xiaomi Mi 6X has a dual camera of 20MP and 12MP on the rear and a 20MP front-facing camera. Other features include; a fingerprint scanner, hybrid Dual SIM options, a 128GB capacity microSD tray and a 2910mAh battery capacity. It will run on Android 8.1 based on Xiaomi’s MIUI 9 is pre-installed.

The price of the smartphone will be announced in the coming days.
