To start with, Airtel gives data bonus this much only on its double data offer. You can easily get your data value doubled from the usual 8GB to 16GB for ₦3000, 4.5GB to 9GB for ₦2000, 3GBGB to 6GB for ₦1500 and also, from 1.5GB to 3GB for ₦1000 on your SIM.
You will be credited for the original data value you subscribed too but get it doubled instantly. This means that if you subscribed for 16GB, you get 8GB data and 8GB bonus, if 9GB, you get 4.5GB as data and 4.5GB as a bonus, and if 3GB, you get 2GB data and 2GB bonus.
When you start browsing after subscribing to your favourite plan, Airtel deducts from your original data balance first before the bonus account. Also, you can make data transfers to friends and relatives from your data balance.
The Airtel double data offer is only available for specific customers and can be used to browse, stream and download as they pleased. Also, the validity of the data and the bonus given is one month.

Dial *141# or *141*241# - Reply with 1 to choose My Offer.
Reply with 1 - Now enter 4 for 3GB, 5 for 6GB, 6 for 9GB and 7 for 16GB at their respective prices.
Enter 4 for 3GB, 5 for 6GB, 6 for 9GB and 7 for 16GB respectively - Proceed by choosing how you want to billed when you exhaust your data.
Choose how you want to billed when you exhaust your data - Also, you may allow auto-renewal if you like.
You will receive a message to confirm your data subscription. If you are not given this offer, it means you are not eligible for this plan. There are other offers available for you.
However, if 141# did not work for you, try *141241#. Most 4G SIMs are eligible for this offer.
