Disable Comments on New Articles
If comments are enabled on your blog, and you have decided to disable it henceforth, this option is for you.
To disable comments on new articles, visit the Settings tab, then Discussion from the left sidebar of your WordPress admin panel.
Find and uncheck the “Allow people to post comments on new articles” option when you are on the page. After this, find the save changes button and click to confirm the changes.
Note that unchecking the option means you have disabled comments on all future posts you make on your blog.

Disable Comments on a Specific Post/Page
If you have decided to disable comments for a specific post/page, follow the steps.
From the left sidebar of your WordPress admin panel, find Pages and All pages. Hover your mouse cursor on the particular page you want to disable comments and click on edit.
Now find the Discussion meta box on the right side of the editor, expand to view the content and uncheck the allow comments option.
Kindly follow the same process used for pages to disable comments for posts.

Disable Comments on Posts/Pages in Bulk
When you are on the All Pages page, select all the posts. Choose Edit from the Bulk Actions dropdown box and click on Apply.
Find Comments and select “Do not Allow” from the comments dropdown. After this, click on the update to confirm your settings. Kindly follow the same process used for pages to disable comments for posts.

Disable WordPress Comments Using Plugins
This looks like the easiest way to disable plugins on a WordPress website. All needed to do is install the “Disable Comments Plugin” and activate it.
After activating the plugin, continue to Settings and select where you would like to disable comments on your WordPress website. Remember to save changes after making your choice.
