A new update has recently been made available to the Change Number feature on WhatsApp. The Change Number feature allows you to change your phone number associated with your WhatsApp account on the same phone.
Before, only members of your WhatsApp group are only notified that you’ve changed your number. With the recent update, WhatsApp will notify every one of your contacts that you now have a new phone number.
To use the Change Number feature, navigate to WhatsApp Settings, then to Account and finally to Change number. Follow the steps accordingly and at the end, enable Notify my contacts option.
