Add A Status
All WhatsApp versions allow users to check the status of friends. In the same way, you can add your statuses too. However, the WhatsApp web is deprived of this function.

Change Chats Wallpaper
WhatsApp web users can actually change chats wallpaper, although there is a limitation to the type of wallpaper they can switch to.
WhatsApp web will only let you change chats wallpaper to a solid colour. You can’t choose images from your storage as chats background like you do on your smartphone.
Dark Mode

Voice and Video Calls
WhatsApp web does not allow voice and video calls. The feature is yet to be added to the web version of the popular messenger app.
Download All Media
You can download media files on the WhatsApp web but not all at once unless you are using the mobile version. To download photos, documents, audio and video files, you have to download the files one at a time.
Stop Auto-Download
The auto-download feature cannot be stopped from WhatsApp web. To stop media files from downloading automatically on WhatsApp, you will need to access WhatsApp from your mobile.
Further, there is a bulk option to disable the auto-download of all media on the WhatsApp mobile version.
